After a brief closing for some construction and refurbishing, Riverbay is back. And the seafood restaurant is better than it has been in many years. The place still has the feel of a vintage New York fish house, and the crowds are big on weekends. But you'll have a very good meal. In addition to traditional seafood dishes, the kitchen also prepares respectable sushi and offers a fine selection of steaks and non-marine fare. You'll enjoy the buttery, grilled Dover sole, crab cakes, sesame-crusted tuna, shellfish cocktails and the selection of oysters. Hanger steak is a flavorful alternative. Go on a weekday night when there's less of a crush and the service is more attentive.
