The Lake Room, adjacent to the Boathouse
Restaurant, is surrounded on two sides by French doors,
which open onto an English garden and to the Central
Park Lake. The lake Room is available year round for
special events of all kinds: breakfast conferences,
fundraisers, corporate barbecues, holiday dinner dances
and weddings.

Portions of the restaurant may be used in conjunction
with The Lake Room to create more space for your event.
If your party is within capacity of the Pavilion and you
would like to use additional space anyway, Please
inquire.
SMALLER EVENTS:
Monday through Friday we may be able to accommodate
your smaller private event
(for 30 to 50 guests ) on the restaurant dock or in the
Indoor Dockside dining room. These areas are also
available every day after 5:00pm.
WEDDING CEREMONIES: May be held in the Lake Room
prior to your reception for a $650.00 fee.
For outdoor weddings you might consider The Conservatory
Garden at 105th Street (860-1382).
BAR: Open bars serve the house’s selection of
premium liquors, house selected still and
sparkling wines and bottled beer. The additional charge
to serve only premium liquor is $5.00 per person.
After dinner drinks may be served during the last hour
at $5.00 per person. Special wines may be ordered from
the banquet wine list.
CENTRAL PARK TRAFFIC REGULATIONS:
Motor Vehicles are permitted in Central park during the
following hours:
Monday-Friday 7am to 10am / 3pm - 7pm
At all other times vehicles will need a permit to use
the park drive. Each event is entitled to five vehicle
permits only. Please be aware that any vendors you hire,
other than those listed herein, may require one or more
of your permits. TRAFFIC REGULATIONS ARE LIFTED MONDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY DURING DECEMBER
ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION - NO PERMIT REQUIRED:
Horse Drawn Carriage - please inquire.
The Boathouse Shuttle: Our 30 passenger trolley
runs at no charge for parties, starting 10 minutes prior
to the event start time. The shuttle will make stops
from 90th street to 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue at approximately 15 minute
intervals. The shuttle can also stop at 80th and Fifth
Avenue to meet or drop off guests who have parked cars
at The Metropolitan Museum’s parking garage.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT TERMS:
Space is not on hold until you have requested a
contract. If you do not receive your contract by fax
within 24 hours and/or by mail within three days, please
contact the catering department immediately. Your signed
contract and attachments must be returned ON RECEIPT of
its issue with PAYMENTS AS NOTED IN THE CONTRACT.
Checks are payable to Central Park Boathouse LLC and may
be hand delivered to The Boathouse. Mail may be sent to
P.O. Box 1357 Gracie Station, NY 10028. payments must be
made by certified or corporate check or by wire
transfer. Charges incurred on the day of the event may
be paid by credit card.
OUR VENETIAN GONDOLA: Price for parties is
$150.00 per hour which includes the Gondolier.

The Indoor Dockside Dining Room
A row of windows look over the dock and onto the
lake. Enjoy a perfect Martini at our bar.
