Boats & Bikes

 

The Boathouse is centrally located within Central Park making it a perfect place from which to launch further exploration of vast Central Park. Rowboat and Bicycle rentals enable you to do just that from a completely unique perspective. We've recently upgraded our recreational facilities with a fleet of 100 new boats and 60 new bikes (of various sizes).

The Boathouse fleet consists of 100 new rowboats moored adjacent to the Lakeside Bar. Rowing across the lake is a delightful and romantic activity which rewards you with unique perspectives of Central Park's man-made and natural wonders. It's great for people watching, too.

Each rowboat is $10 per hour.
Each additional half-hour is $5.
There is a $30 deposit per boat.
A single rowboat holds up to 4 people.

Bicycle rentals are available for exclusive use within Central Park particularly on the rollPMing six-mile loop shown on the accompanying map. The loop is an active roadway that includes designated running and cycling lanes. The loop is typically closed to vehicular traffic on weekdays from 10am-3pm and all day on weekends. Our selection of the 60 new bicycles include cruisers, 21-speed, children's, trailers, and tandem bicycles.
